We will once again enjoy an evening amongst friends and colleagues to celebrate Northern Tasmania's tourism industry, recognising the contribution made by the outstanding individuals and businesses who work hard to contribute to an exceptional visitor experience. Champions of Tourism Hall of Fame 2013 to 2023 - 10 years celebrating our tourism industry in Northern Tasmania!
Thank you to everyone who joined the VNT team for Champions of Tourism 2023 at the stunning Glendale Estate in the Tamar Valley.
Northern Tasmania turned on a lovely Spring evening, as the sun went down the well-stoked fire pit was the place to meet and warm your hands. Local producers, Turner Stillhouse, Adams Distillery, Hazelbrae Hazelnuts and Fork It Farm showcased their products and provided tastings during the evening, a grazing platter featuring locally sourced produce paired nicely with Glendale Wines and beer from DuCane Brewing. The vibe was relaxed and as always when the tourism industry comes together the venue filled with lively chatter, warmth, genuine comradery and a steady flow of ideas and inspiration.
Well done to everyone who was nominated as a Champion of Tourism and congratulations to the 2023 Winners! The calibre of nominees made choosing the winner for each category incredibly difficult. The judging panel successfully navigated the challenge and here are the winners for each category:
