Philip will share his intimate experiences capturing portraits of individuals and families in their unique environments. Discover the stories behind the faces of our vibrant community that Philip has documented for nearly 30 years.

Philip Kuruvita Photography has been operating in Tasmania for 32 years and has developed a professional practice of national and international standard and recognition.

Philip Kuruvita G.M.Photog FAIPP has successfully exhibited extensively and received numerous national awards and accolades for his work. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (FAIPP) and was awarded the distinction of Grand Master of Photography in 2012. There are currently just 22 Grand Masters of Photography in this country, and Philip is the only Tasmanian with this accolade. He is also a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute (FNZIPP).
