Owned and run by the Natural History Museum in London, England, Wildlife Photographer of the Year celebrates the very best nature photography and photojournalism, using the unique emotive power of photography to inspire wonder and create advocates for the natural world.

Seen by millions of people all over the world, the images spark reaction and encourage us all to think differently about our impact on the natural world.

The exhibition’s stunning images allow visitors to experience nature in vivid detail and get up close to some of the world’s most extraordinary species, the lives they live and the challenges they face. The upcoming exhibition is known as #WPY59 as it represents the competition’s fifty-ninth year.

The competition is owned by the Natural History Museum, a world-renowned and trusted British institution and scientific research centre.
