Oatlands Retreat

Oatlands Retreat is centrally located between Hobart and Launceston on the Heritage Highway in Oatlands, famous for its many historic buildings. The unit is within walking distance to all town attractions. including the recently restored Callington Mill, the 3rd oldest mill in Australia, where you can watch flour being milled or purchase flour and bread. The Companion Bakery sells traditionally made sourdough from the mill flour. Learn how they use age old methods with no yeast. Oatlands is nestled on the shores of Lake Dulverton which has been stocked with trout. Why not get a licence and throw a line in or picnic at the free BBQs
This affordable 2 bedroom modern and spacious fully self-contained unit sleeps up to a maximum of 5 guests. Tea & Coffee provisions are provided, breakfast provisions of eggs & bacon are available on request at an additional cost of $7.50 per person. Warm and cosy with a reverse cycle heatpump and complimentary videos/dvds, Netflix, FREE WiFi and an XBOX One. There is safe 2 car parking and we are pet friendly (outside only) as the unit is fully enclosed with gates and high fences. Being situated in the main street, you can walk to all town attractions, including pubs, restaurants, cafes, lolly shop, bakeries, antiques and craft. Oatlands offers all the services of a large town including a hospital, chemist and internet access at the local school.
