Trousers Point Campground

Trousers Point Campground is a campground within Strzelecki National Park, managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania.

Trousers Point Campground is located at the southern end of Trousers Point. This is a delightfully situated site, with a crescent of white sandy beach, clear turquoise waters, and mountainous backdrop. The beach is sheltered, and great for swimming or snorkelling, and there are a number of pleasant coastal walks nearby.

The site offers basic facilities, including a toilet, rainwater tank, one fireplace area, picnic tables, open areas for tents, information board and rubbish bins. There is also a free gas barbeque at the picnic area.

Fees do not apply, and bookings are not required. Please note that Flinders Island has a number of campgrounds and facilities provided by both the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service and Flinders Island Council. Total site number and capacity are estimates only. Always check local signage and the PWS website for campfire restrictions before lighting a campfire. Please take all rubbish away with you.
